The Sunday market is back under the JFX
The Baltimore Farmers Market is running Sundays from April 12 through December 20, rain or shine, from 7 a.m. to noon. Did you know it has been a local hub since 1977? That is a lot of coffee, flowers, and "lemme just grab one more thing."
Harbor Wetland postcards are coming to Mount Vernon
At Flower Mart, the National Aquarium plans postcard-making and a Harbor Wetland presentation. It is a cute little bridge between city flowers and harbor habitat, the kind of connection Baltimore makes when it is paying attention.
Kinetic costumes are fair game now
The Kinetic Sculpture Race site says the May 2 race goes on rain or shine and even nudges spectators to get their costumes ready. Baltimore, naturally, heard "transportation event" and answered "dress funny."
